Having adopted an ex-racing Greyhound I just wanted to share my thoughts and experiences of life with this beautiful canine. 14,000 of the breed mysteriously disappear every year and I count myself lucky to have been given the chance to give this lady a new home. Thousands don't get the chance and probably are killed. You've read the stories now do something about it and give a Greyhound a home. I did and I know I made the best decision of my life
Niamh invited her cousin Paddy (from Ireland) to stay. But I don't think he quite understood what she meant when she said
"The future's so bright you gotta wear shades"
He took it literally

I currently live in Surrey with my partner Alan and our newly acquired canine companion. I'm a nurse by trade and I work for an Insurance firm as a clinical trainer
