What a difference 3 months makes.......

Well we've had Niamh for 3 months now and I just keep shaking my head in disbelief at how well she's progressed. From being frightened of everything and everybody to now wanting to say hello to other dogs and wanting to play all the time. I remember feeling so elated the first time I got a waggy tail as I came in from work, it was about 3 weeks after we got her. It was a minor wag but a wag none the less. Now I get the tail going like a propeller and her head stuck through the gate as she tries to get to me. I also noticed she chatters her teeth at the same time and i'm told by Alan that this means she is really pleased to see me. I come through the gate and automatically drop my bags and give her a big kiss and cuddle and ask how my baby girl has been. You may think me mad but this is how much I love my dog. Alan is amazed at how quickly she has attached herself to me and he can see the love coming back. He's not jealous thank god and he loves her just as much as I do but he dosn't play with her or cuddle here as much as I do. When she plays he always assume she's going to bite him or something, whereas I can tell she's just trying to get your attention should you dain to stop stroking her.

I thank god, fate and whatever divine providence that she came to us. My life will never quite be the same again.
